The location is perfect: peaceful, with great walks right on the doorstep, yet close enough to Oxford to explore easily. Our hosts were so warm and friendly, even surprising us with honey fresh from their own beehives, which was such a special touch. This place is truly a gem, and we would definitely stay again.

The house was immaculate... read more and filled with features we loved—underfloor heating, very comfortable beds, a fun step-up bath for the children, and an Alexa they enjoyed chatting to. The children’s crockery and cutlery were a thoughtful touch, and we also appreciated the log burner in the lounge and the hot tub with its beautiful countryside views. Everything you need for a superb stay has been thought of here! A real highlight was watching a Red Kite right outside the full-length lounge/diner windows. Phoebe was a wonderful host and left generous welcome items including eggs, bread, milk, butter, prosecco, and access to useful cupboard staples like pasta, seasonings, tea, coffee, and granola. Overall, it was a fantastic stay for the whole family, and we’d love to return in the future. Thank you!!!
